As Portlanders, we are so spoiled with the riches of outdoor living. One of the activities Erik and I love to do on Saturday mornings is to wake up bright and early and hit up the lengthy trails of Forest Park (the largest inner city natural park in North America). You can run an entire marathon along the Wildwood trail, completely immersed in natural foliage. Forest Park trails are especially delightful in April, when everything is beginning to bloom and blossom. Packed full of streams to run through, mud puddles to dodge, and tree trunks to hurdle, it always makes for an exciting run. To make our trail trek that much more sweet is a Stumptown coffee and treat awaiting us once we finish.
About Me
A fresh new catalogue will always make me smile, a tall glass of lemonade signifies the start of summer. I will never underestimate the power of a post-it note. I love anything old, and with a story. I'm always up for a challenge. I love traditions especially when it comes to family & friends. I laugh when I'm nervous. I believe gyms are for sweating not make-up. I think crafting brings people together. That’s me, in a nutshell.Archives

I want to go there, I’ve never actually spent a day in the park, and I need to!
Amber, you guys have to check it out. Especially right now, everything is vibrant green (pictures don’t do it justice).
