Weekend Re-Cap… comin’ at ya. One stinkin’ day late. Sorry about that pals, last eve was a girls night which was supposed to be infused with crafty-craftin but was high-jacked by some serious gabbin’-gabbin’. It was a refreshing evening and exactly what I needed. Speaking of last evening, the Weather Gods were mighty fierce – throwing down some serious lightening, thunder, a torrential downpour, hail and potential tornadoes. Yes, TORNADOES. It was delightful, I love a little excitement that doesn’t end badly.
So, kicking off the weekend, I may be a bit biased, but here’s a little cute action to get the juices going.
Friday – Erik picked my up from work and we ventured over to the very, oh-so awesome shoe store named Gravity Pope. No people, this was not Erik’s idea. It rarely is. However, the man needed some new shoes. I asked what he had in mind… “comfort”. Okaaaay. So after Erik tried on a ba-gillion pairs of Chuck Taylors, Toms, Vans, Sperry’s… I walked out of the store with these. For me.
So, Erik’s quest for the perfect pair of comfort meets sexy shoes continues. Ladies… any suggestions?
Speaking of quests. My life long dream of filling every crevasse of our house with globes continues. I found this bad boy at a garage sale.
Absolute merriment on Sunday. A lazy morning start, picnic blankets, sushi-to-go, books, magazines, grass and an afternoon filled with lounging and reading. Slowing down a bit and enjoying everything rich and wonderful about life.
And then something happened and we were graced with the most amazing, beautiful sky.
