Weekend Re-Cap… Urban Garden

Nothing like a weekend where you can get down and dirty. What? Get your minds out of the gutter people!

Dirty as in soil, plants, and fingernails with dirt underneath. I’ll have to admit, last summer I was missing our garden. There’s something both satisfying and relaxing about growing your own veggies. I love cooking with my own fresh herbs and vegetables. I love pruning and inspecting the new growth. It’s green therapy at its best.

So, a mini urban herb garden in the city is what we get for this spring and summer. We added a few vines, ornamental grasses, and flowers for a decorative touch. My kind of weekend activity.
